Backstage Resilience Support for Festivals, Tours, and Live Events

On-site confidential support for performers, crew, and event teams navigating pressure, fatigue, stress-related behaviours, and high-stakes live environments.

More AAA than A.A.

Support built for the real conditions of live events

My experience in festivals and live music began over two decades ago. That matters because backstage support only works when it comes from someone who understands the culture, the pressure, the pace, the personalities, and the realities of live environments. Festivals, tours, and major events create unique forms of strain: long days, short recovery windows, emotional intensity, stage anxiety, access to substances, interpersonal friction, public visibility, and very little room for error.

I provide an embedded, peer-level support presence inside those environments. The goal is simple: help people stay safer, steadier, and more functional under pressure.

On-site resilience and harm reduction support

Confidential 1-to-1 support

Confidential 1-to-1 support for performers, crew, and key professionals backstage. A calm, experienced presence available when it is needed most.

Real-time de-escalation

Real-time de-escalation and calm decision support during high-stress moments. Practical intervention that helps people regain control without drama or disruption.

Non-judgemental harm reduction

Non-judgemental harm reduction guidance around risky or stress-related behaviours. Honest, pragmatic support that meets people where they are — not where others think they should be.

Pressure and stage support

Support for pressure management, performance anxiety, fatigue, emotional overload, and the cumulative toll of sustained high-intensity work.

Discreet high-risk window presence

Discreet presence during high-risk windows — pre-show, post-show, late-night, and other moments where pressure and vulnerability peak.

Pre-event and post-event support

Optional pre-event planning and post-event debrief support. Helping event leaders anticipate risks, prepare their teams, and review outcomes.

Pragmatic, non-judgemental, and grounded in reality

This is not a preachy or punitive model. My harm reduction approach is non-judgemental and rooted in what genuinely helps in high-pressure environments. Sometimes abstinence is the answer. Sometimes it is not. The point is to help people make safer, more mindful decisions without shame, posturing, or denial.

That is why the service is AAA rather than A.A. or N.A. It is practical, responsive, and built around helping people stay in the game without unnecessary collateral damage.

NDA-level confidentiality as standard

Discretion is not optional in this work. Whether I'm supporting an individual performer, working alongside crew, or embedded with an event team, NDA-level confidentiality is standard. I provide a secure, off-the-record space for people to talk honestly, get support quickly, and protect both their privacy and professional integrity.

Protecting people, the show, and operational stability

Event organisers, tour managers, artist managers, and production teams use this service because it strengthens both duty of care and operational resilience. When pressure escalates backstage, the consequences can affect safety, morale, reputation, and the smooth running of the event. My embedded presence helps reduce avoidable incidents and creates a more stable environment for everyone involved.

  • Support duty of care in high-pressure event settings

  • Reduce the risk of preventable backstage incidents

  • Help performers and crew stay functional and supported

  • Provide a trusted confidential presence that is not management, security, or clinical enforcement
