Two Decades in High-Pressure Environments. A Smarter Model for Resilience.

I founded Unlocked Resilience to help driven professionals build a more sustainable way to succeed. With more than 20 years of experience across live music, festivals, high-stakes environments, and commercial work, I understand what pressure really looks like when there is no switch-off point and no room to fall apart in public.

James Duke-Evans, founder of Unlocked Resilience

Experience built in the real world

My background is unusual by design. I have spent over two decades around the realities of live events, music culture, backstage pressure, demanding personalities, long hours, volatile environments, and the kinds of professional expectations that make unhealthy coping patterns easy to normalise. Alongside that, I have built deep experience in sales, revenue acceleration, strategic workflow thinking, and coaching people whose output matters.

That combination means I do not approach resilience from a distance. I understand pressure from the inside. I know what high-functioning strain looks like, how successful people hide it, and how quickly intensity can become unsustainable when there is no structure for recovery, honesty, or behavioural awareness.

Evolving how ambitious professionals operate

My mission is simple: help ambitious people deliver without sacrificing their health, judgement, relationships, or long-term future. In many industries, working harder is still treated as the answer to every problem. I believe that model is broken. Sustainable results come from resilience, self-awareness, smarter systems, better decision-making, and a more honest relationship with pressure.

“There is no judgement. No moralising. No performative wellness. Just calm, honest, practical support from someone who has been in the room and understands the pressures.”

— James Duke-Evans

How James works

Human and direct

No scripts. No clinical frameworks. James works from lived experience and a deep understanding of what sustained pressure actually feels like. Clients describe it as talking to someone who genuinely gets their world.

More AAA than A.A.

Harm reduction, not abstinence. This is a professional-grade resilience service — like roadside assistance for high-performers under pressure. Discreet, responsive, and designed to get people back on track without shame or stigma.

NDA-level confidentiality

Every engagement operates to NDA-level standards as default. Nothing is shared with employers, managers, or anyone else — unless there is a genuine and immediate risk to life. Non-negotiable.
